Chapter 4: Cavern B and the crew lift

Level 4 is the climb out. Steam's achievement is just "Finally." A patch note mentions level 4 in passing, which is enough to say the developers talk about a fourth level and not enough to draw it. The room-by-room version comes from one wiki: Cavern B, a body identified as Dr. Fellows, a crew-lift key on that body, a last chase by Dennis, and a fall with no confirmed corpse.

What I will repeat, and what I will not expand

• Jordan is trying to bring DJ back to the surface. The narrative devlog and the launch note establish DJ as the missing child and Stella as the person waiting.
• The wiki's ending image is the crew lift, DJ recognizing Stella's car, and Dennis gone from the ledge. The ending page compares that image with the "one main ending" line in the Q&A.
• I am not adding puzzle steps between the key and the lift. I do not have a second author for those steps.

Dennis has a whole page because the mascot and the threat are the same character in the guides, and because players ask "so what is Dennis" as its own question. This chapter only needs the chase: he is fast, he knows the building, and the route ends when the lift moves, not when he is defeated. There is still no weapon in chapter 4. The design did not grow a gun for the finale.

About 27.2 percent of Steam players had finished level 4 when I read the global percents. That is higher than the collectible achievements, which sit under 1 percent, and lower than the rock-kick gag. People are finishing the story more often than they are cleaning the park. New Game+ is a separate mode the Q&A ties to a finished game and to amber, so it does not change the first crew-lift ride.
