Chapter 3: flood circuits and the Allosaurus arena

Level 3's public name is a joke that leaks the mess: "Slime-o-saurus." The patch notes are more useful than the joke. They describe a second Allosaurus hunt built around four fuse circuits. That is the spine I am willing to give this chapter. Flooded power, a black residue the wiki calls biomass, and a closed arena where the Allosaurus charges and overshoots are the wiki's furniture on that spine.

How the arena is described

The Allosaurus page has the animal. Here is only the room. Guides say the arena is a loop: the animal commits to a straight charge, passes you, and needs a moment to come back. The escape they describe is vertical — a catwalk, a stack, a wall-run panel — and they warn against jumping over the head. I am repeating that because it matches a creature that is faster than Jordan on the flat, which is the behavior note on the monster page. If your arena offers a door instead of a catwalk, take the door. The guide is a shape, not a coordinate.

The other chapter 3

GrindnStrat and the Into Indie Games sequence, which share wording, describe a chapter 3 of mine tunnels, goo, and a cart. That may be this same flood, photographed from the tunnel side, or it may be a chunk I filed under chapter 2. Publishing one smoothed list would hide the cut. So: if you are in a minecart and you thought chapter 2 had already finished the mine, you are in the disputed overlap. Keep moving. The achievement does not care what I named the room.

Player completion falls hard here. About 55.8 percent had finished level 2 on the morning I checked, and about 32.6 percent had finished level 3. I will not invent a cause. It can be length, it can be the arena, it can be people who own the game and stopped. The percent is a Steam statistic from 2 Nov 2026.

Questions

Why four fuses?

A patch note describes the second Allosaurus hunt as four fuse circuits. A third-party wiki describes the same count in a flooded power room. I treat the count as supported and the room dressing as the wiki's.

Is the mine in chapter 3?

Only in the guide family that writes chapter 3 as mine, black goo, and a minecart. The other family already spent the mine in chapter 2. I link both and do not delete either.

What is the level achievement called?

Steam calls it "Slime-o-saurus" with the description "Finish Level 3." Global percent on 2 Nov 2026 was about 32.6.
