Chapter 1: Dalton's Dinos attraction
Chapter 1 is the visitor building. You are still Jordan, still on the surface of Dalton's Dinos, and the horror is a museum that starts misbehaving. The achievement for entering is "Welcome to Dalton's Dinos." The achievement for finishing the level is "Welcome to the Underground," which tells you the chapter's job: get from the parking lot to the cave.
Parking lot to the employee door
The shared guide starts at the broken car and the payphone, then the front door. Inside, a scrap on the Allosaurus fossil's hand and a scrap under the Brontosaurus fossil combine into 9216. That number opens the employee keypad. I am repeating it because every copy of this guide uses it, and because I have not found a second author who walked the room differently.
Theater, exhibits, and the floor you cannot touch
When the preshow ends, a door marked in the guide as closed leads to crates and a cage, then an upper room with a fuse. The fuse belongs in the box beside the video player. The guide asks for three timing windows, a restarted preshow, and a left-hand gate into the exhibit hall. In the hall you climb a dinosaur platform, reach a security console, throw three switches — dinosaur, stage branches, stage right — and pull a lever. The phone headset is in this stretch. Stella's voice is a story fact; the headset is a route fact.
Dilo Dash is the electrified floor. The guide is blunt: do not land. Yellow pipes, columns, then a token exchanged for the flashlight. Backstage continues with a display box, a dinosaur dummy you shove, a button, a darkroom console, a small opening, a slide, and a pipe. None of that is in the studio's public posts. It lives or dies with this guide family.
Gift shop, basement, Brontosaurus
The gift shop holds a VHS and the conversation with Stella. The basement keypad is 1903. Below that: three fuses, three pillar boxes, a lever, and the first Brontosaurus pursuit. The guide ends the chapter when you reach the cave, which matches the achievement name about the underground. Collectible notes attached to this stretch list four amber, four Paleo Pal talk boxes, and the first plush. Two of the talk boxes are off the obvious path, which is why Paleo Pal Review gets missed.
The Hybrid is the creature associated with the museum and the backstage, not a boss you deplete. If you want the animal rather than the doors, use the Dilophosaurus page. Chapter 2 picks up in the mine only in one of the two maps. Read that page before you assume the cave mouth is already the tram.

Questions
What is the employee door code?
9216, from papers on the Allosaurus fossil and under the Brontosaurus fossil. One walkthrough family reports it. Three sites copy the same sentences, so that is still one source.
What is the basement code?
1903, after the gift shop and the VHS. Same single source family as 9216.
How long is chapter 1?
A third-party wiki puts it around 1 to 1.5 hours and calls it the most authored stretch. That duration is one source.
