Terrible Lizards release date

Terrible Lizards came out on 29 Oct 2026. That is the date on the US Steam store page ("29 Oct, 2026"), the date in the PlayStation Blog headline ("out Oct 29"), and the date in the Xbox catalog. The Xbox timestamp is the precise one: 29 Oct 2026, 17:00 UTC.

Why you may still see 30 October

An earlier pass over search snippets had Steam on 30 Oct. I am not promoting that into a second SKU date. The reading I trust is 29 Oct for the US and for the official posts. A store in another region can still flip the calendar day when it localizes the same UTC instant. If your page says 30 Oct, it is showing that shift, not a later edition.

What unlocked together

• Windows on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
• Xbox Game Pass on day one, per the October developer Q&A and the launch note.
• The launch trailer from WDR Studios, published 29 Oct 2026.
• The soundtrack listings that name the same day for the album. The soundtrack page keeps the track list.

The demo was earlier: Steam app 5244130 on 24 Sep 2026. It is not the release. The full game is a finished four-chapter story, not a chapter-by-chapter launch. The developer Q&A says that directly. There is no season pass date to wait for on this page.

Switch 2 is not a release date. The launch note hopes for one later and ties it to how the game performs. That answer lives on the Switch page so this page can stay about the day the game actually shipped.
