The Hybrid: dilophosaurus stalker
The Hybrid is the park's signature body. The creature devlog says it began as a human-raptor idea and settled into a dilophosaurus mixed with a person: a skull for a face, ribs like coral, quiet until it is close. RJ Palmer led that design. The PlayStation Blog interview from 27 Oct 2026 talks about twisting familiar dinosaur shapes, which is the same instinct. This is not a movie spit-attack puppet. The guides describe it using doors.
How guides say it behaves
It closes distance while you are busy. A puzzle with one exit is the mistake they warn about. The counter they repeat is architectural: a wall or a door that breaks the line, and a second way out you already clocked. I am not adding a damage number or a cooldown. Nobody official published one, and the third-party pages I trust for routes do not pretend this is a duel.
Chapter 1's backstage and the electrified Dilo Dash are the museum version of this pressure. The dash is a floor puzzle more than a character scene, but the name in the guide is not an accident. Later caves reuse the stalker. The finale does not. If your last pursuer is wearing the gift-shop smile, you have met Dennis, and his page is the one that explains the mascot.
Story job, kept small
The devlog frames the Hybrid as the first clue that the dig under Dalton's Dinos found something other than fossils. It is not the author of the park. Dalton, Elena, and the tapes are. I am not promoting a fan theory that the Hybrid used to be a named employee. I have one community reading and no studio sentence, so the theory stays off this page.
Related rows in the index: Allosaurus for the arena, Brontosaurus for the lane you cannot block, Pterry for the sky, Dennis for the lift. The Hybrid's own field is the doorway. Remember a second exit before you start reading a note.

Questions
Is the Hybrid the same as Dennis?
No. Dennis is the Paleo Pal mascot, also a dilophosaurus shape, and guides put him in the last chase. The Hybrid is the principal stalker from the creature devlog, a dilophosaurus mixed with a human body.
Can you fight it?
It has no health bar. The devlog and the store page describe a game without weapons. You end the meeting by leaving through a second door.
Who designed it?
The creature-design devlog credits RJ Palmer and mentions Alien Resurrection and The Void as references for the exposed coral-like ribs and the skull face.
