DALTON'S DINOSGUEST SYSTEM v1.06.92INSERT TAPE

Terrible Lizards collectibles

The park wants you to tidy it. Steam's rare achievements are explicit: all amber, all tapes, all notes, all stuffed animals placed, and Hoarder for every collectible. On 2 Nov 2026 those rows sat between 0.2 and 0.5 percent. The story achievements were an order of magnitude more common. Cleaning Dalton's Dinos is optional relative to leaving it.

Chapter 1 location starter checklist

These selected locations are condensed from ShowGamer, one independent guide. Chapter labels follow that guide; its later chapter boundaries may differ from other walkthroughs. Its linked full list includes later pickups and acknowledges seven missing note locations.

What the tapes and notes are for

They are the story Dalton and Elena are not present to tell. The narrative devlog puts Dalton on tape and in notes, and Elena mostly in letters. I am not transcribing those documents here. The opening checklist above provides a starting route; ShowGamer carries the detailed later locations. Each location remains labeled as one guide rather than being presented as independently corroborated.

New Game+ reads the amber bucket. Four modifiers, one per four samples, all four if you really do have sixteen. The modifier descriptions from the Q&A — a body-camera look, slippery surfaces, death if you stop moving, low gravity — are on the New Game+ page. They stack. They are not collectibles themselves.

Chapter 1 is the only stretch where I will name a pickup cluster: four amber, four talk boxes, first plush, with the review easy to miss. Later chapters' pickup maps are inside the disputed chapter cut, so I am not pinning "the tram tape" to chapter 2 when chapter 3 might be the same tunnel.

Questions

How many amber samples are there?

ShowGamer's 1 Nov 2026 guide says 16. Every four amber unlocks one New Game+ modifier in the developer Q&A, and 16 would unlock all four. The studio did not print "16" on the store page. Status: 1 source for the count, studio support for the sets of four.

How many notes?

The same guide says 97 and admits 7 locations were still missing from the write-up. Another wiki says the studio never published a total. I am keeping 97 as a third-party figure with holes, not as a fact.

What do the plushies do?

The achievement "You Go Here" says "Place all the stuffed animals." Guides count four. Placement is the verb. I have no separate gameplay effect beyond the achievement and the Hoarder umbrella.

Source counts refer to independent publishers; syndicated copies and separate readings from one publisher count as one source.
