Who is Dennis in Terrible Lizards?
People search "so what is Dennis" because the game introduces him as a joke and spends him as a problem. He is the gift-shop smile: a dilophosaurus in the Paleo Pal line, the sort of character who would have a talk box and a plush. Guides then put that same name in the last corridor with DJ, and on the ledge when the lift rises. The fall does not come with a body. The ending page is where I compare that image to the studio's "one main ending."
Not the Hybrid
RJ Palmer's Hybrid is the other dilophosaurus-shaped body, the one with the coral ribs and the skull face, the stalker in the museum. Dennis is branded. If you mix them, the finale sounds like a repeat of chapter 1. The devlog's principal four do not include Dennis. He arrives through story and merchandise logic. That is why the monster index gives him a row and still sends the design essay to the Hybrid page.
The voice, if the cast wiki is right, is CG5. I like the assignment as a lead and I will not print it as a credit crawl. MatPat's blank row on that same page is a reminder that the map has holes. CG5's row could be one of the solid ones or one of the hopeful ones. Until a studio credit matches it, the status stays "1 source."
Players turned the name into a meme because the tonal gap is the point of the park: a brighter tomorrow painted on a mascot that knows the service tunnels. I am not collecting joke screenshots as evidence of lore. The useful facts are the mascot role, the chase, the disputed human past, and the voice lead. Chapter 4 has the route. This page has the name.

Questions
So what is Dennis?
A Paleo Pal, the dilophosaurus mascot of the park, and in the guides the creature who has DJ and then chases Jordan to the crew lift. The cute version and the threat are the same name.
Who voices him?
A third-party cast page says CG5. The August 2026 press release does not list CG5. Status: 1 source for the voice.
Was Dennis a person?
Only as a community theory. I have not found a studio sentence that says so, so this page does not treat it as plot.
