Dalton Coolidge and Dalton's Dinos

Dalton's Dinos is painted on the building you walk into, and Dalton Coolidge is the man who is not there to give you a ticket. The narrative devlog calls him a paleontologist, DJ's father, and a founder who has already left the room. The date on the fiction is 19 Sep 1992. The place is Route 66 in New Mexico. The launch note uses the park as the whole setting: a family attraction with something under it.

Tapes instead of a conversation

Because he is gone, the Audiophile achievement is partly his. Tapes and notes are how the devlog says he remains. I am not summarizing each tape. A 24-tape count from one guide may or may not all be his voice. Elena has letters. Mixing every document into "Dalton's diary" would erase her, and the cast map gives her a separate performer, Katy Bentz, again from that single map.

DJ is the reason Jordan stays. The phone asks for a missing child. Guides later put DJ with Dennis. That pairing is the story's cruel joke: the mascot of the father's park is the thing in the dark with the son. I keep the pairing labeled as guide-plus-cast-notes, not as a line in the devlog I can quote word for word.

Christian Ames is the name on the third-party row for Dalton, and the same name appears again for Benji. Two roles, one performer, one source. If the credits scroll a different Dalton, I will change the row. Until then the founder is a voice on a cassette and a last name on the sign, which is honestly how the game seems to want him.
